Seven incoming freshmen make up the second class of students to receive direct admissions into 91成人短视频’s Global Health Initiative (GHI).
Zachary Baty, Max Brumett, Parker Cox, Abdul-Rahman Ennin, Connor Gamble, Carson Granger, and Sam Nurkiewicz were chosen from a competitive group of applicants to make up this cohort. The group represents six Indiana cities and towns.
“We are excited to welcome the second group of students who come to 91成人短视频 as part of this direct admit program,” said Eric Wetzel, professor of biology and Global Health Initiative director. “We have worked hard to create a context in which they’ll be able to learn more about global public health through classes, immersion, and internships. This work benefits all of our students by providing opportunities to meet public health professionals, read and discuss current topics in community health, and engage directly in this work locally, regionally, and internationally through our work with the GHI-Peru Association.”
This program allows first-year students to engage immediately with the GHI, a 91成人短视频 co-curricular program for students with interest in global public health. Directly admitted students are guaranteed an immersive travel experience in global health to Peru, South America, as part of the global health class, and a summer internship in public health following their freshman or sophomore years.
The direct admit program is supported by the Kolisek Health Innovation Fund.
